Location-based automatic check-in and check-out
With automatic check-in and check-out enabled, users can leave their phones in their pockets when arriving at or leaving a workplace. This provides you with accurate time reports you can rely on.
How it works:
Location-based reminders and automatic check-in and check-out work with “geofence”. Geofence is a feature found in all smart phones. The phone creates a virtual border, when the border is crossed, Nuba creates a reminder or an automatic check-in and check-out. To make it work as well as possible, some adjustments may be needed in Nuba and in the phone’s settings.
Automatic check-in and check-out is set by each user in their app: Go to the settings (gear) in the app and then “Reminders & automation”.

Secure for management who can immediately see if everyone is on site. As an administrator, you can always view on a map that everyone is in the right place when they arrived or left a location. You can also receive a notification when someone checks in or out

Things to consider when using automation
-Make sure location services are turned on in the mobile phone settings and if the “Always on” option is present, it should be selected for Nuba.
-Make sure your phone’s battery saving mode is turned off
-Make sure the location in Nuba is exactly right (tip: check the location in the app).
Please note that it takes a few minutes for automatic check-in and check-out to take place.
