Karpet AB, which provides the web-based service Nuba (“Nuba”), a web-based time reporting tool, processes your personal data on behalf of Karpet’s contracting party (your employer or their subcontractor) who is the data controller for the relevant processing, to provide Nuba to you. Karpet is therefore the data processor for this processing.
For parts of the personal data processing, service providers of hosting, email and SMS distribution will also have access to your personal data. Some service providers may have parts of their operations in countries outside the EU/EEA. Transfers are only made to countries that the European Commission has determined to have an adequate level of protection, or where the provider has a legally binding and enforceable instrument that guarantees data security, e.g., through Privacy Shield membership (read more about this) or adoption of standard contractual clauses (read more about this).
The personal data processed includes your name, personal identification number, location data, user ID, contact information, device data, operating system, login times, and data changes. Nuba’s contracting party, your employer or their subcontractor, receives the processed information.
Your personal data is processed based on consent in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. You can withdraw your consent at any time, which means you will no longer be able to use the service. This can be done via email to info@nuba.se.
Nuba will process the data for the duration necessary to fully implement the agreement with Nuba’s contracting party during the contractual relationship.
To exercise your rights, such as the right of access, right to rectification, right to be forgotten, right to restriction and objection, right to contact the supervisory authority with complaints about personal data processing, and right to data portability, please contact your employer or their subcontractor.
