Support for users
To be able to report time from your phone, you need a user account with Nuba. It is your manager who creates it for you. When this happens, you will receive a text message with a password. As soon as you receive the SMS, you can start checking in and out.
Nuba reports all check-ins and check-outs directly to your employer. Using the telecommunications network and GPS, Nuba can ensure that the correct position is recorded and that you are on time.
Your location is only recorded when you check in and out or use the nuba alarm function, never otherwise. This means that Nuba takes and sends your position only at your request and it is only on these occasions that your position is recorded.
Report time with mobile app
- Download the app from the App Store or Google Play.
The easiest way to find the app is to search for “Nuba time” - Install and launch the app.
Log in with your mobile number and the password you received via SMS - Check in by selecting the relevant location and clicking on “Check in”.
Remember to be at the designated location when you check in. - Before leaving the location, check out by tapping “Check out”.
If you wish, you can write notes before checking out
which will be sent to Nuba upon checkout
Report time by SMS
- Check in when you are on site by sending a regular SMS with the text “in” followed by spaces and the site’s SMS code, for example: “IN 12” (without quotes) to phone number: 71200 or if you have Comviq: 0737-49 44 40.
- Before leaving the location, check out by sending “out” to the same number as above
If you want to include a note, type “out”+space+note e.g. “finish the job”.

You can access the app at any time to see the reported time or go to nuba.co.uk for detailed times:
- All your reported times
- Produce reports with workplaces and times for yourself
- Set reminders so you don’t forget to check in and out.
Log in and use your mobile number and password to log in. The first time you log in to nuba.se, you have to change your password. Please note that if you change your password, you should use the new one in the app as well.
